Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this site. We build to the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as a target, we check what we can automatically on every build, and we say plainly where we are not there yet.

What we do

Pages use real headings, landmarks, lists and tables, and one main heading each.
Every image has alt text. A build check fails if one is missing.
The site works with a keyboard, with visible focus, and the search box supports arrow keys, Enter and Escape.
Pages are laid out to work from phone width up, and we look at every page type at 400 pixels wide.
Animation is minimal and we respect the "reduce motion" setting.
Colours are chosen for readable contrast on our own pages.

What we have not covered

We are not certified or independently audited, and we do not claim full WCAG conformance.
Checkout, order status and customer account pages are run by Shopify and follow Shopify's own accessibility work.
Product photos come from our suppliers; we write alt text from the product name, which is less descriptive than a human description.
