Order by these dates for Christmas

Most of our products ship from supplier warehouses and take one to two weeks, so Christmas needs earlier order dates than a big retailer. These are the dates we would use ourselves.

Last day to order, by delivery type

Each date is Christmas Day minus the slowest window for that delivery type, minus 5 days for December carrier delays. They are estimates, not guarantees.

Delivery profileOrder to doorOrder by, to be home for ChristmasProducts
Ships from a US warehouseday 4 to 8December 1216
Ships from a US warehouse (express)day 3 to 8December 1210
Ships from a US warehouse (postal service)day 4 to 10December 1023
Standard supplier shippingday 6 to 14December 655
Slower supplier shipping (some bulky or low-priority items)day 8 to 17December 31

Delivery windows are counted from the day you order and come from our supplier's own listings (see shipping). The window for your exact product is printed on its page before you buy. Ordering after a date does not mean it cannot arrive in time, only that we would not promise it.

How to use this

  1. Open the product and read its delivery window.
  2. Find that delivery type in the table above and compare today's date with the order-by date.
  3. If you are past the date, a product that ships from a US warehouse (the shortest windows) is the safer pick. The dates are fixed: there is no countdown and nothing here changes unless our suppliers' windows do.
