What this check means

The same product is often listed under several titles by different suppliers. Listing it twice would split reviews, confuse prices and make our pages repeat each other. A listing that duplicates something we already stock is turned down.

Counts from our review records as of 2026-11-07. Full criteria: the method page.

How you can check this on any listing

  • Search the main photo; the same image under different titles usually means the same product.
  • Compare dimensions and materials, not titles.
  • Different prices for what looks like one product usually means different shipping, not a better product.

Questions

How many listings did you turn down because of duplicate of our stock?

60 of 924 rejections (6%) were turned down mainly for this reason, out of 1,212 supplier listings reviewed. A listing that fails more than one check is counted once, under its main reason.

Does this mean those suppliers or categories are bad?

No. We chose which listings to review from our own searches, so the counts show our filter at work. They are not a rating of any supplier, seller or category.

How can I run this check myself?

Search the main photo; the same image under different titles usually means the same product. Compare dimensions and materials, not titles. Different prices for what looks like one product usually means different shipping, not a better product.
